Online Activism resources

Hey just found radicalhack.com which seems to be a lot like enviro-geek but for all our Western Australian friends.

There's also riseup.net which has mailing lists, email accounts and hosting

Just thought I'd throw them down here while I remembered them

One admits that modern life is not very cheap, nevertheless different people require money for various things and not every person gets big sums cash. Therefore to receive quick credit loans and bank loan should be a correct solution.

more from WA

That's good to know there are others in WA supporting non-profit groups.

My own site was primarily setup to host my own personal & business domains in a cost effective way; but as things have turned out I have ended up hosting several non-profit group websites. Due to my own interests they are predominantly animal welfare/rights related.

I really need to do some work on my hosting domain's website; but for the moment here's a listing of sites I currently host/maintain.

Animal Liberation WA (group disolved, but site kept as archival resource)

Animals West Inc

Circus Watch WA

Live Export Shame

Stop Tasmanian Animal Cruelty

Beverley Naturalists Club

Animal Environment Forum (Aust & NZ)

Cat@lyst and we.riseup.net

So I just found http://cat.org.au/ aka Cat@lyst which was a Sydney based group and I figured someone must know more about them. Looking at their site it appears like the collective hasn't done much for a while.

I also just found we.riseup.net which is riseup's new social networking platform called crabgrass that's still in development mode which is why they haven't started advertising it yet. I've started an Australian Tech Collective group just to see if there's anyone else around on it but anyway check it out if you have some time.
